چکیده

The paper deals with a technique of sensitivity calculation in linear hybrid networks containing elements with both lumped and distributed parameters when the multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) are considered as the distributed parts. The technique utilizes the modified nodal analysis (MNA) method to do overall description of the network enabling determining sensitivities with respect to both lumped and distributed parameters. As the first step the frequency–domain sensitivities formulae are derived then the numerical inversion of Laplace transforms (NILT) is applied to get the time-domain sensitivities. In this paper an innovative method for the calculation of the sensitivities just with respect to distributed MTL parameters is presented. Key-Words: Sensitivity analysis, Hybrid network, Multiconductor transmission line, Modified nodal analysis, Chain matrix, Frequency–domain sensitivity, Time-domain sensitivity, Laplace transform, Numerical inversion

Analysis of Time Response of Lossy Multiconductor Transmission Line Networks

Systems are considered consisting of an arbitrary number of multiconductor transmission lines joined and terminated by arbitrary linear networks. The fines are assumed to be Iossy, with frequency-dependent parameters. The system is analyzed in the frequency domain, and the inverse Fourier transform is used to obtain tbe time-domain response.

Algorithm for Accurate Capacitance Matrix Measurements of the Multiconductor Structure for Vlsi Interconnections

The demand for computer simulation of multiconductor interconnections in VLSI structures necessitates that such structures should be modelled. Calculations of the model capacitance matrix from measurements, for the multiconductor transmission lines which are coupled interconnections in a VLSI structures, using the "two-terminal" capacitances indirect measurement procedure is strongly corrupted ...

Neural Characterization of Wire Bundles Multiconductor Transmission Lines

A neural network approach is proposed for the characterization of twisted wire bundles multiconductor transmission lines. The neural network is suitably trained with few cross section configurations to learn the behavior of the per unit length parameters of the nonuniform bundle. The procedure allows a fast characterization of the nonuniform bundles multiconductor transmission lines.

Recovering Lossy Multiconductor Transmission Line Parameters From Impedance or Scattering Representations

In this paper, we present a generalization of the simultaneous diagonalization technique by means of congruence transformations to the general reciprocal lossy multiconductor transmission line case. The method paves the way to solving the inverse problem, i.e., given a lossy multiconductor transmission line system of a given length, recover the transmission line parameters from the impedance or...
